Strawberry Spinach has been dated well before the 1600's. It is a multi-purpose heirloom plant. The young leaves have a spinach like flavour and are perfect for salads and the small red edible fruit have a mild but sweet flavour and can be eaten fresh or in salads as well. Strawberry spinach is an easy plant to grow but it is best to harvest or terminate the plant before it goes to seed unless you want that spot to grow this plant for years to come. 100+ seeds per pack.
