Rouge d'Hiver is an heirloom lettuce variety from France that means "Winter Red". It is a loose headed romaine variety that has good regrowth. Red & brown tinted leaves mixed among green. Grows well in the Spring & Fall but will bolt if too hot so should be avoided during the middle of summer.
