About Us

Our Background

Hemphill Seeds was started in 2025, aiming to offer unique heirloom vegetable seeds and fresh organic produce. Although Hemphill Seeds is not certified organic, both indoor and outdoor crops offered have been produced using organic inputs and zero sprays. We're growing! Currently farming on a 1 acre parcel, with an additional acre being added late 2025/early 2026. Our future plans include a 4500 sq ft greenhouse and a small storefront. We hope to be able to offer a wide variety of seeds, seedlings, and produce to our community. We started this company to improve access to unique varieties, as well as provide the highest quality produce at an affordable price point. Investing in local economies is more important now than ever, and we make considerable effort to support and collaborate with other local businesses. About the owners: A lifelong organic gardener and overall enthusiast, Tiffany runs the day-to-day operations on the farm. Not her first rodeo, she has previously worked on a commercial organic farm and has recently left a career in Land & Water Stewardship to focus on this venture. Tiffany has a passion for sustainable practices and is diligent in making sure that our plots will be healthy for years to come by being a steward of the land and implementing regenerative agriculture practices. As a full time crop consultant, Luke serves more of a background role at the company. Working hard behind the scenes on organic fertility planning, microgreens production, and keeping seedlings happy. In the future, he will be working on new hybrids selectively bred for our heavy clay soils. He is a great resource for plant and soil science.
